The recent pay-for-play deals going on within the Democratic party (Gov's Blago and Richardson) have even enveloped the President-elect himself, the Appointed One - Barrack Obama. First, MSNBC becomes the Obama network, with such "unbiased" newspeople like Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann, and Andrea Mithchell on air everynight bashing everything with an (R) in front of it. Then it's parent company, GE, gets billions in bailout money from the federal government. Now, CNN gets rewarded for their Obama cheerleading everynight with David Gregory, David Shuster, and Campbell Brown by appointing one of their own, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, to Surgeon General. Notice how no company associated with FoxNews has been appointed anything, nor have their parent companies been given any monetary award. Sean Hannity is correct when he says that 2008 is the year that journalism died!
What the media has done for the Annointed One is uncomparible to anything that it has ever done before in this country. It's constant McCain-Republican-Conservative bashing was daily and had it's effects on that part of the American people who does not pay attention to politics or anything that happens around them. And also those who still suffer from Bush-Derangement Syndrome and would have voted for Mickey Mouse if he was a Democrat running for office (AL FRANKEN, need I need any more proof?). For the past several election cycles the MSM was always ranting on how the Republican party and it's good fundraising efforts bought them elections, now it's "look how many everyday people gave what little money they had" to the Prophesized one to wage war against the right-wing attack machine! Obama bought this last election with the help of the media! But still, he only won by seven points when the Republican's fielded their worst candidate they could have (judged on Conservative values).
This next election in 2010 will be the next most important election, besides this one, that will either make or break this country. If the Republicans (real true-conservative) ones can regain some seats and can control one of the two houses of Congress, we might have a decent chance of saving this country from becoming the United Socialized States of America (USSA).
