Another Democrat, another indictment...

It's a good thing that the the Republicans and their"culture of corruption" got voted out of office in 2006 and 2008 because the Democrats are as pure as the driven snow (wink, wink).  Another indictment for another Democrat, this time the Baltimore mayor, Sheila Dixon.  The mayor is facing a twelve count indictment, including perjury, theft, fraudulent misappropriation  by a fiduciary and misconduct in office.  Let's see HOW the MSM (main stream media) or even IF they cover this story and if they mention the (D) in her party affiliation, my guess is they won't.

The Republican party has to take a stand on this.  They were silent all throughout this last election, never mentioning the words "culture of corruption" at all in any of their political ads!  Not once did I hear in an ad the dismal approval ratings of the Democrat-led Congress nor of any of their "promises" they promised during the runup to the 2006 election when they regained control.  I want to see the GOP start to fight back with the "culture of corruption" ads of their own.  I want to see every conservative Republican that is on the cable news shows or the broadcast networks keep beating this point like a drum!  I want to hear all the names mentioned, Jefferson, Blago, Spitzer, Dixon, Rangel, Dodd, Frank, Richardson, all of these people that were invlolved in some sort of scandal.

I want to see in the next election cycle (2010) commercials with Nancy Pelosi's own words making promises in 2006 that weren't kept.  I want to see the approval ratings of this Congress almost as much as President Bush ratings were shown.  I want to see ads depicting Rhezko,  Blagovich and any other corrupt Illinois politician getting caught red handed doing anything.  Then I want to see what the Republican party stands for, not just what we are against.  The Democrats did not win over the White House and Congress, the Republicans lost them.  People who voted for the Democrats did not vote FOR them because of their policies (well some of them did) but AGAINST the Republicans and what the MSM has reported about them.  We need to look to talk radio, ther blogs, and to FOX NEWS to get the real message out, and they have two years to do it.

Corrupt Governors..see a pattern??

Bill Clinton.  Gray Davis.  Jim McGreevey.  Elliot Spitzer.  Rod Blagojevich...Do we see a pattern of corrupt Governors?
What do all of these men have in common??  Don't know yet, hint..they are all DEMOCRATS!!  A pattern has emerged in recent times concerning corruption and  Democrat Governors.  The other thing in common is that in each case, the Main Stream Media has either ommited or added in the last paragraph of each story that the person in question is in fact, a Democrat.  When it is a Republican in trouble, he or she is usually referred to in the press as "Republican Senator ..." or "Republican Gov ...", etc.  The media covers up the Democrats crimes and highlights the Republicans ones.

The recent trend in this country is to elect any Democrat instead of the Republican.  For proof of this, look at Al Franken, a "comedian" who has avoided paying taxers in several states and is now in a recount with a known Republican Senator.  Only in Minnesota, the state that voted for Jesse Ventura as their Governor can this happen in.  What regular Americans need to know is that in evry city and state where a Democrat has been in charge, taxes have gone up, spending has gone up, and economic woes have followed.  Look at Detroit and Chicago and their corrupt mayors and their city's economic problems.  Look at Jennifer Gramholn, Gov of Michigan.  Look at the state of the whole New England area and the problems it is facing and compare that to the South where Governors and Republican mayors are either holding their economies together or having surpluses.

This country soon has to realize what Democrat policies can do to an economy and need to start voting in TRUE Republicans to lead and govern their states and cities to econmic feasability, even in these harsh times.  The Main Stream Media is not going to do this, but the American people can and we must!
