President Obama, class act or classless??

The President of the United States has no right to single out and denounce one of it's own citizens for practicing their first ammendment right to free speech.  I am talking about Rush Limbaugh, a member of the loyal opposition GOP party.  President Obama is the President of all Americans in this country, not just the African-American ones, not just the Democrat ones, and not just the liberal ones.  Forty seven million did vote for the other guy, you know.  He is the President of ALL Americans and should not have told the GOP to stop listening to Rush Limbaugh.
Did I miss something and we are now North Korea, China, or Venezuaela, where one is not allowed to criticize their leaders or fear being punished by the state?  Do we have to bow everytime someone mentions the Messiah's name?  NO, we are Americans and the Constitution gives us all the right to publicly air our views.  But, we in the Conservative movement, are not going to personally attack the President like the left did (anyone remember Majority leader Harry Reid calling President Bush a loser??), anyone??  We may attack his policies or ideology, but never him personally.

Obama's explanation of "I Won" and therefore can anything he wants is egotistical, arrogant, and definately not bipartisan!  Yes, he did win and can therefore push foward his own liberal agenda, but we can also fight back with our own ideas and make sure they are heard.  The GOP might not have the votes to stop anything, but that does not mean they can just roll over and let the Democrats do whatever they want without any opposition.  Elections have consequences, and in two more years there will be another election that may well change the tide in the Congress which will force President Obama (by the way, the first BIRACIAL president) to compromise and work with the GOP to pass truly BIPARTISAN legislative.

Lastly, the so-called "Fairness Doctrine" must never again be law.  If so, then we will be just as bad as China and North Korea.  And that is not who we are.  We are AMERICANS and have the right to free speech and the right to object and oppose peacefully and with words any policies we do not believe in.  When the Democrats were in the minority, no one stopped them from complaining or opposing the Republican Administration.  Although they vehemently attacked the character of President Bush and his policies, that too was an example of them excercing their free speech (although in very bad taste).  We must show them, and the AMERICAN people, that conservative ideas and policies work better than liberal ones in defending this country on issues of security and economically and socially.

I say this to President Obama - We may disagree with you on political and social issues, but do not try to silence our voices and turn this country into a socialized state where we must give up all freedom to the government!
