Why Politicians are like the Transformers

     Here is why I believe that todays political parties are like the Autobots and Decepticons of the world of the Transformers.  The similarities are actually pretty scary.  You have one side, the good guys, the Autobots are like today's Republicans and the other side, the bad guys, the Decepticons are like today's Democrats. 
 
The Republicans (the Autobots)
Are represented by the color red
Represent a movement (way) foward (like the cars most Autobots transform into)
Willing to take responsibility for their actions (sacrificing themselves for the greater good)
Willing to protect those who need help, regardless the consequences to themselves
     (doing things not politically correct if it helps the country in the long run)
Believe that hard work and perseverence is the way to get things done
Always looking long term and not take short cuts
 
 
The Democrats (the Decepticons)
Are represented by the color blue (or purple)
Try to deceive the general public (demogauge the issues, lie, distort the truth)
Try to achieve things without earning them, by taking what they need (taxing the rich)
Believe that taking short cuts is the way to get things done
Willing to do things for the short term, no matter the long term consequences
Lie, cheat , and steal to get what they want
Always blame the other side and never take responsibility yourself
 
      It is always easier to take the low road and give people whatever they want in return for their votes and or allegiance to you.  Obamacare is a good example.  There is so much "free" stuff front loaded into it that when the really bad stuff kicks in, it's past the next presidential election.  Remember if "you like your insurance now, you can keep it"?  In reality, only 30% - 40% of the people will be able to keep it. 
 
      Megatron, the Decepticon leader, was always thinking of ways to get more energon, even if it threatened the Earth's very existence.  Optimus Prime, the Autobot leader, was always endangering himself for the protection of the humans. 
 
     Amother way top put it is that the Republicans are the parents, with a wealth of information and experience, and that the Democrats are like the teenage children, always out for themselves and have no real experience or responsibility.  That is what today's two parties are like, generally speaking.  Now there are extremes on both sides, but the general inferance is there for all to see.

Truth about tax cuts and spending

     All I ever hear from the Lame Stream Media is that we have to raise taxes to cut the deficit.  On and on, they go.  This is a classic example of class warfare at it's worst.  You hear it from the major newspapers, networks, NPR, pundits, and every Democratic operative out there.  They keep repeating over and over again "raise taxes on the rich" or "raising taxes on millionaires and billionaires", yet they set the rate at $200,000 single or $250,000 couple.  They are being dishonest and will always phrase it as "the Democrats say..." when in reality they are the ones who are saying it, they themselves being Democrats!
      To be honest, one has to look at it from a different perspective.  Imagine that there is a hole in your small boat and it is taking on water.  What do you do first?  Start bailing the water out or plug the hole??   Bailing out the water does no good because the hole makes it fill up as fast as you drain it.  You plug the damn hole first!!   Another example is your bath tub is overflowing because the water was left on.  Do you shut the water off or empty the water out first??  
     The Democrats want to spend more of your money (not theirs, they avoid paying their taxes - see Rangle, Geithner, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, John Kerry, etc) to keep you dependant on them so you continue to re-elect them into power.  They want a welfare society.  For example, blacks vote Democratic 90%.  They have been doing so for decades, yet what has that gotten them?  The liberal ideology is to keep people on welfare and give them free things so they like you and keep you.  It's the Republicans who, with Clinton, reformed welfare in the 90's so that people themselves can pick them up out of poverty and make something of them selves.  Teach them how to get and keep a job, keep them off the drugs and crime, and show them that there is a better life out there.  The black poverty rate now is the same of higher than it was forty years ago!  The black birthrate for single mothers is now at 70%!  But, that is another blog for another day.  The truth is that the Democrats want to spend more money for social programs to keep people addicted to the government.
     How does this equate with higher taxes??  Say the government raises the taxes on the "wealthy" people from 35% to 40%.  This causes the government to take in, say, an extra $200 billion dollars.  Now let's say they increase spending by $300 billion dollars.  Now, how does that help the deficit??  Anyone?  The first step in reducing the deficit is to cut spending and learn how to live within your means, everyday Americans do it every day, why can't the government??  Back to the example.  By raising taxes on the "millionaires and billionaires" who are making $400,000 a year and own a small business, you cause them to cut employees to make up for it or not buy new equipment.  Now you have also cut money going into the government by taking away payroll taxes AND putting more people on unemployment which the government pays out in.  Does this sound like a sound financial idea to you??  President Obama once said he would rather take in less money going into the government if it meant that the tax system was more "fair".  Does that sound like he really is interested in cutting the deficit?  
     He, Obama,  would not even be talking about the deficit if the Republicans did not win the House and increase their numbers in the Senate.  Obama's self made "spending freeze" for the next five years is based on an inflated baseline from years passed.  It's like saying after I max out my credit cards this year, I am not going to charge anything else on them next year.  It makes no sense!!  Obama and the Democrats had better get serious about cutting the budget and tackling the deficit or else they are going to be out a job.  If they win, we all lose!!!!!

Zsa Zsa Gabor and Obamacare

If Zsa Zsa Gabor was living under Obamacare last year, things might have been very different for her.  One, she would not have gotten her hip replacement.  She was 92 years old and, according to Obama, would not have qualified for hip replacement surgery (she eventually had her leg amputed this past week).  He said that if there was a cheaper red pill than a more expensive blue pill, he would have given her the red pill.  The cost of the hip surgery outweighed the quality of life she would have had if she had the surgery done.  So, under Obamacare, she would not have gotten the replacement and would have probably died from the result. 

      What does a 93 year old lady have to live for anyway, right???  That is the world of Obamacare, whether you like it or not.  A price tag is put on your life and if medical care is more than what you are worth, you do not get it.  Great Britian does the same thing.  Obama might have had Zsa Zsa go before his "death panel" before receiving any treatment.

What you don't hear in the media about AZ

   All I have heard the last several days from the mainstream media and the polticians is how the violent rhetoric in this country had caused the mass shootings in AZ.   Sarah Palin and her map one year ago targeting districts is all you hear about.  What you don't hear from the pundits is that the Dems had a similar map in 2007.  What you don't hear about is the President himself calling his political foes his"enemy" and him saying he would "bring a gun to a knife fight".  What you don't hear is all the talk of George Bush being assissinated and hung in effigy by the left for eight years!  Media bias, damn right there is!
     Now the spin is that the last two years is has gotten worse.  The Tea Party is being demonized as violent and extreme right-wing.  The real reason it has gotten worse the last two years is becasue we have had a Congress push through legislation time and time again that the American people DO NOT WANT!  They don't want Obamacare!   They don't want bailouts of banks and car companies!  They don't want huge spending bills!  They don't want financial reform the way it was passed! They don't want one sided government!  The Democrats would not allow the Republicans to offer ammendments on anything!!!!  That is why the last two years it has gotten worse!!  Political discourse has always been there.  We call them "battleground states", we say "behind enemy lines", we say "political enemies" and such.  Do not blame this on Sarah Palin.  I bet this wackjob never even saw her map!!   It was just one whack job with an axe to grind dating back to 2007, BEFORE Sarah palin ever came on scene.

The media and their hypocracy

     This weekend's tragic shooting has been politicized and demonized by the mainstream liberal press to attack conservatives, the right wing, and the Tea Party.  To blame Sarah Palin, the left's most feared and hated conservative, for a year old posting about "targeted" congressional districts is downright wrong and they know it!  The left have been using terms like "targeting", "in the crosshairs", and even Obama said that he "would bring a gun to a knife fight" and nothing was said in the MSM (mainstream media).  Obama even called his political opponents his "enemies".  The tough talk is on both sides and will always be.
     Now last year, when Maj. Nidal Hisan shot up Fort hood the media immediately put on politicans and pundits to tell people not to jump to any conclusions.  When the Times Square bomber almost blew up New York, Mayor bloomberg immediately blamed someone that "didn't like the health care bill".  In both cases, the left wing media told us not to come to conclusions and did not even want to blame Islam extremists.  As soon as this happened with Congresswoman Gifford, it's the first thing they hit the airwaves with - it's Sarah Palins, Glen Beck, Bill O'Reilly, and Rush Limbaugh's faut  (what about jumping to conclusions??).  See the following website for more on this:

     As it turns out, this nutjob that shot all those people is a Marxist fan, a communist, and a left-wing radical.  But, we can't jump to conclusions now.  He probably remembers Sarah palin's ad from a year ago and plotted this action for a whole year!  See this site for even more info:
     The media have their own agenda and will everything in their power to push it.  On CNN, Candy Crowley must have mentioned Sarah Palin's name about twenty times trying to tie her to this shooter.  He was no tea partier, that's for sure.  Just like when MSNBC tried to paint tea partiers as violent white men with guns and showed  a black man from the waist down carrying a gun to a tea party rally and deliberatelty misleading people to think he was a white man. 
     This is a terrible tragedy and noone should be blamed for it.  It was one nutjob that crossed a line that never should have been crossed.  But to politicize it and demonize the right wing conservative part of this country is dead wrong and should not be tolerated!!  I urge people to hit their newspapers opinion pages and write letters condemning the media for doing this.  God bless the people who died and/or got hurt and let's not use their tragic circumstance in vain.

Take our country back tomorow!

     I have not written in a while but felt I should today.  Tomorow we, the American people, will vote to see if we can bring this country back from the fringe of being a socialized European country.  We tried the liberal cradle to the grave, soak the rich, spend your way out  mentality for almost 20 months and all it has gotten us was deeper unemployment and increased uncertainty.  We have nationalized the auto industry, the banks, the student loan program, and health care.  The Obama-Pelosi-Reid agenda has failed!!   Obama gave the auto industry, which collapsed due to the union contracts, 55% of control to those same unions and screwed the share holders who lost millions.  Obama and the Dems have caused health care costs to skyrocket and forced many children out of their children only policies.
       Obama and the Dems have created a class warfare battle that is killing capitalism more and more everyday.  They have created a society based on government handouts and welfare.  Why work when the government can support you for free?  Obama once said that he would rather take in less money into the government if the tax code was fairer.  The liberals do not understand that out economy is not like a pie chart.  What i mean is the more you take from one part doesn't mean you take less from the others.  It's possible to grow BOTH the middle calss and upper class at the sametime.  Taxing the "rich" means taking money away from people who create jobs and invest in infrastructure.  Now is not the time to raise anyones taxes!!
     We must put certainty back into this economy.  Companies are sitting on trillions of dollars but are afraid to spend them becasue they do not know what their taxes and health care costs are going to be.  We must put the American people back to work in the private sector, not government sector.  It makes no sense to pay someone and take back a certain percentage in taxes (government jobs).  What you want to do is make the policies that make the private setor create jobs.  Why not take in money in taxes that you do not have to pay out in salary???  D o you get it??  This administration certainll does not.  
     Vote Republican on November 2nd, 2010!   Even if a few bad Republicans get elected, those RINOS can get weeded out next election cycle if need be.  We must get control of the leadership so we can set the agenda.  VOTE!!!!!!

How tax cuts increase revenue - the Dems worst nightmare!

     I keep hearing on all the Main Stream Media channels that the Republicans are hypocrites when they deny people extended unemployment benefits without paying for them while at the same time they do not want to pay for the tax cuts.  After the 2001 and 2003 Bush tax cuts took effect, there were record raised tax revenues in 2005 and 2006.  Also, when Kennedy cut the top bracket from 91 to 70% and Reagan cut them even further from 70% to 50%, revenue also went up.  You see, in a perfect world there would be less money taken in by the government with a lower tax rate than a higher one, but we don't live in a bubble.  People's spending habits are not figured in when you just analyse the figures.  Of course higher tax rates bring in more money, IF you only look at the numbers all by themselves.
     When tax rates are low, people have more money to spend than when tax rates are higher.  Now, lets take a look at two examples to see how this works.
     Person A lives in a world with a tax bracket of 35%.  He takes home about $15,000 more than at the tax rate of 39.6%.  With that $15,000 he goes out and maybe goes on a shopping spree at the mall.  Right off the bat he pays local sales tax.  He spends a good grand on jewelery, clothes, and electronics.  Those salespeople that sell him these products have to ring him a up and others have to restock the shelves.  So, the store either hires more people or gives his existing employees more hours.  More hours and more employees equal more payroll tax into the governments treasury.  Then, he goes and decides to have the jewelry engraved, which costs more money, which the jeweler has to work more hours and thereby paying more payroll tax.  Now that he bought a new DVD player and stereo, he decides that he needs some new movies.  So...he goes and buys them from Best Buy, lets say.  Best buy now has to pay an employee to sell him the movies, another to restock the shelves, and of course the they need to buy more from the warehouse to restock, don't forget the local sales tax.  Now the warehouse gets busier, must hire more people and must buy movies from their supplier which increases the payroll tax yet again.  Then, that same person gets into an accident on the way home from the mall.  He then has to pay a repairman to fix his car, which increases the hours of the repairman, which of course increases payroll tax.  So now, he rents a car and thereby has to spend more money at the rent a car place, which again increases people's hours and the payroll tax.  He then has to put gas into his car, which increases gas taxes to the government to fix roads and such.  He pays for gas and buys a soda, again more sales tax.  All this in one day!!  You can see how this would work if everybody did it with the extra money they get to keep.  True, this is oversimplified but entirelly accurate and logical.  But imagine if everybody did it!
     Person B:  Owns a small business and is one of the 75% of people who make over $200,000 a year and who claims his business profit as individual income.  His tax rates goes up and he has to cut his spending.  He decides not to give his emplyees any raises and cuts their hours or even fires one or two of them, thus DECREASING payroll taxes.  It then becomes a snowball effect.  Those people who hours are cut or fired cannot go out and spend things so sales taxes also decline, also gas taxes because they can't drive as much anymore.  Then he decides to cut back inventory and so his suppliers are taking in less money to pay their own emplyees.  This causes the stores to cut back on their employees and so it goes on and on. 
     That extra $15,000  in the first case has resulted in much money than that that is given to the government in the form of other taxes- payroll, sales, gas.   The lesser money that Person B was bringing home   resulted in much more negative effects on the economy than that extra money gaines from the higher tax rate.
     The problem with estimates is that they do not include people's spending habits or people's perceptions of the econmoy.  The economy can be doing great, as it was in 2004-2006, but if people think it is doing bad (as the Main Stream Media were doing because Bush was President) then it can have almost the same affect as higher taxes - people spending less money.  The problem with this Obama administration is that it is creating the one thing that kills businesses - UNCERTAINTY.  People do not what their taxes are going to be so they are watching every dime and not taking a chance on hiring that extra person or two or increasing people's hours. 
     This economy can be brought back to life IF we eliminate any uncertainty about taxes in the future, IF we can give small businesses incentives to grow again and IF we eclect a Republican Congress this November to stop this radical leftist agenda of Obama-Reid-Pelosi.  Obama once admitted that he would rather see less government revenue generated IF it was more fairer to the American people - called the Redistribution of Wealth. 
      GROW UP MR. PRESIDENT!

Rush to judgement

Recently, Turncoat Charlie Crist called a special session in Florida to place a constitutional ban on oil drilling off Florida's coasts.  Florida already has a law banning oil drilling 125 miles off the coast.  This was just a political ploy to get Charlie's picture in the paper and for him to suck up to the Liberals and Dems he hopes to have vote for him.  Whether or not you agree with oil drilling off the coast of Florida, now is not the time to vote on it.  Lets just wait to all the facts are in and find out what went wrong before we go amending our state constitution.  Emotions are running high right now and they need to subside before any rash thinking can take place.   There have been over forty thousand wells drilled out in the Gulf of mexico and only one spill, back in 1979 by a mexican oil rig. 
 
 Imagine if we banned all planes from flying over Florida when that plane crashed into the house in Tampa several years back.  Imagine if we banned all driving on highways after that seventy car crash last year due to fog.  Imagine if we banned all swimming in the Gulf of Mexico after a swimmer got bit by a shark off Cocoa Beach (I think) several years back.  You can see how ridiculous theses sound but that is exactly what is going on right now!

The Thin-skinned President

Never before have we seen a President as thin-skinned, arrogant, egotistic, and unpresidential as Barrack Hussein Obama.  From calling out Newoutlets and pundits he disagrees with by name (ex FOX News, Sean Hannity, Glen Beck, Bill O'Reilly, etc),  to constantly deriding the American people (see Tea Party activists or basically anyone who disagrees with him), to the opposition party's leaders and members (see Mitch McConnell, Jon Boener, Eric Cantor, etc.).  This guy cannot take criticism but he can sure dish some out, especially  in front of carefully crafted audiences (see NASA speech, Senator Boxer's fundraiser, ect).  He is constantly campaigning from the stump, even after telling Senator McCain that the campaign was over and that HE WON. 
 
Can you imagine, or remember, George Bush calling out NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, CNN or individual news pundits by name (like Keith Olbermann, Diane Sawyer, Chris Matthews, Wolf Blitzer, Rachel Madow, Ed Schultz, Katie Couric, Sam Donaldson, etc)?  Do you remember him ever calling out American protesters (which there were a lot of, see Code Pink, Moveon.org, etc)?  Did he ever challenge a heckler in a speech or stump stop?  No, call George Bush whatever you want but he acted Presidential!  He acted with class and dignity.  Did he call out Harry Reid for calling him a "Loser" in front of school children?  Did he ever speak out against anyone in Congress saying he lied about WMD's on purpose?  Did he ever go after the Supreme Court while they were 20 feet away and not able to defend themselves?  NO HE DID NOT!!!!!!!!!
 
Obama is still in campaign mode and cannot take ANY criticism, none at all!  He is thin-skinned, arrogant, egotsitical (how many times does he use the word "I" in a speech?), and completely  out of touch with the American people.  Not too even mention his teleprompter for everything, even a speech to school children, in everything he does.  He promised to governfrom the center but has gone all the way to the left.  He promised a new Washington, but is actually running things from a Chicago-style mobster government.  He, to this day, still blames everything on George Bush and what he has "inherited", but he's been in office for over a year and has put out several budgets and omnibus bills, not including "Stimulus" and "Obamacare".  He promised to cut spending line-by-line and cut  out waste and repitition, but has actually increased spending over 20% on everything!  The so-called "stimulus" bill, was every Democratic pet project in the last thirty years that was shelved but now has come to fruition.  So much for cutting the spending!!  Typical Liberal!!   We must take back the Congress and, for Pete's sake, fight back with the truth and not let the Dems and Obama say anything they want about the people or the Republicans sticking up for yourselves.  
 
There, I said my peace.  Now it is time for action!  Get out there this Summer and Fall and elect true conservatives to Congress so we can take our country back!!!!!

Health care - the Chicago way!

     This week, the Democratic Congress will most likely pass Obamacare, the massive trillion dollar government takeover of the health care system that the majority of Americans do not want!  Obama, Pelosi, and Reid have done everything to gather the 216 votes needed in the House to pass this bill.  What they have done would be illegal in the private sector or anywhere else but government.  From bribes, to arm twisting, to threats, to outright payoffs, anything to get the votes.  They have given one congressman all the student loans in the country going through his district; they have turned the water on in California where they were starving farmers over a two inch fish; they took members of Congress on Air Force One and wined and dined them; they have promised one congressman's brother a seat on a state Supreme Court; and so on.  They have told members of Congress to sacrifice themselves for the greater good (and for other government jobs like ambassadors and Sec of Navy) in return for their vote.  This Obama administration makes Madoff look like a shoplifter!

 
     Also  in this bill is funny accounting.  The CBO score is contigent on counting $500 billion in Medicare cuts being counted as both savings ands spenditures on the entitlement program.  The "doc-fix", a separate legislation passed every year to make up the cost to doctors in Medicare, is not even included.  This alone is $200 billion yearly!  I still want to see how it is possible to add 32 million people to a program while at the same time improving care without adding any extra doctors - demand goes up but supply stays the same!  Paul Ryan, Republican from Wisconsin, and Karl Rove has laid out exactly what economic trickery is in this bill.  Just recently, when Rove was debating Plouffe (Obama's campaign manager) about the tricky accounting, all Plouffe could do was the typical liberal argument - attack the opponent personally and not the facts!  This is not HOPE and CHANGE, at least not what the American people wanted!
 
     Never in this country has a major piece of legislation passed with a slim majority with one party support AND with the American people opposed to it!  NEVER!!  The truly ironic thing about this whole debate is that the true BIPARTISANSHIP is in opposition to this bill!  The Main Stream Media, already gushing over how great Obama is, will not tell you this, or any of the tricky accounting, none of it!   The MSM is continuing blaming Republicans for opposing this bill when in reality, they never had the numbers to stop it.  All the opposition that could have stopped it were coming from the Democratic party itself! 
 
     I seriously doubt this legislation will come to pass in its current form.  There are way too many Constitutioanl challenges that will keep it tied up in the courts for years,  I hope!  This November, we must continue this fight and elect Republicans in the House and Senate and do whatever is ethical and legally responsible to stop this bill and start working on some real reforms that will fix our Health Care System.  Tort reform, interstate shopping, high risk pools, more free clinics, tax cuts and rebates, true cuts in fraud and abuses in Medicare and Medicaid, and so forth.  It can be done and it is time for the Republicans, Conservatives, Independants, Tea Partiers, Libertarians, and conservative Democrats to take this country back the the far left liberal, Marxist, Socialists that Obama and Pelosi and Reid truly are!

Palin vs Obama

    Much controversy, most of it made up by the left, has come from the statement made by Bill O'Reilly on his Factor show about Sarah Palin needing to "..go back to college.." and learn more about topics such as National Security, economics, Health Care, etc.  Which I agree with, in a way.  When Senator Obama was running for President and his experience was compared to that of Governor Palin, his response was something like "..I am more experienced because I have been running for President for almost two years.." when Palin just appeared on the scene.  Now, by going by that criteria, Sarah Palin would have been running for President (if you count what she has been doing now) for roughly three years before she would officially announce in 2011 or so. 
  
      Then-Senator Obama was no expert in anything, not foreign policy, not Health Care, not economics, not taxes, not anything when he was elected.  Now, he is President and the main stream media think he is the smartest person in the world because he knows everything about everything (which he doesn't)!
   
     A President is only as good as the people around him (or her).  Obama is surrounded by Chicago-style corrupt politicians who have never worked in the private sector or held down real jobs before.  They threaten, they coerce, they blackmail, they will do anything to get their way.  That has been the Chicago way for decades.  This current group - Holder, Jarred, Plouffe, Axelrod, Emmanuel - are no exception.
 
     The left are afraid Sarah Palin, they see her as a threat.  If they didn't, they would just laugh her off and forget about her.  But they don't, they constantly deride her and her family and disect everything she says and does.  I am glad she is on the Fox News.  Now she can defend herself and go after this corrupt administration with her comments, her analysis, and some cold hard facts.  Palin might not be the best choice for 2012, but come 2016 or 2020 or Vice President she could be a force in this country, something the Main Stream Media has wanted for Hilary Clinton for a long time!

Media bias in newspapers, a good example and talk radio

     The following is a letter I sent to the editor of my local newspaper, the St Petersburg Times.  The Times is a very liberal newspaper and has been criticized by none other than Bill O'Reilly of Fox News several times.  They used to print letters that I sent them, now I feel like I am blacklisted.  They have not printed the last fifteen or twenty letters I have sent them.  I write them out clearly and do not overly play my hand that I am conservative.  In my opinion, it proves that today's newspapers do not want to have anything to do with fairness and reporting on both sides.  Eighty to 85% of the Opinion Page articles are from either Paul Krugman, Atlanta-Journal Constitution, Slate, Salon.com, New York Times, or the Chicago Tribune; all liberal publications.  Their idea of a conservative is David Brooks, the token conservative at the New York Times.  About once every three or four weeks, they will print Charles Krauthamer or some other conservative but have an opposing liberal lambasting him.  No wonder why our newspapers in this country are going bankrupt!  Here is my letter:
 
In Friday's paper there is an article that says that Congressman Rangel broke ethics rules for taking Caribbean trips from a corporation.  The next little article right after it states that an investigation into Republican Bill Young has been ended and found no violation.  The difference is that in Rangles article, nowhere is it mentioned that he is a Democrat.  Bill Young is labeled "Florida Republican...".  Why is this important??  Because this paper, the St Pete Times, who in the past has admitted to not recommending a Republican for Governor or President in it's 125 year history, cannot help its' biased reporting!  It is shamelessly tilting it's coverage to make Democrats look good while making Republicans look bad.  Anyone can look up these facts themselves.  It is time for this paper to be more fair and balanced" in it's reporting
 

       Now, the Obama Admistration's Organizing for America, has set up a website  (http://radio.barackobama.com) , for liberals to infiltrate mostly conservative talk radio with talking points and tips on how to get the administrations point of view across.  I suggest every conservative go to this website, which is taking people's reports on what they do, and flood it with emails denoucning it.  I sent one this morning telling them the host shot back at me with facts and I couldn't argue with him, so I did the liberal thing and attacked the messenger!  We all need to keep calling talk -radio and writing letters to these newspapers and with our blogs to fight against this Main Stream medias bias that is out there.

The Left and hypocrocy

     Let me see if I understand today's Liberal Democrats.  They are for abortion, the killing of an innocent life... but against the death penalty, the killing of a person who has killed someone else.  They are against waterboarding and other "enhanced techniques" for enemy combatants and want to give them due process...but now brag that they have killed more terrorists by drone attacks than President Bush had.  (What due process do you give someone when you lauch a missle at them from 500 feet up in the air)??  They are against activist TEA parties and other grassroots demonstrations by saying they are fake and organized...but send in the Union thugs to town hall meetings to shake things up.  They are against the Supreme Court ruling allowing corporations to spend money on campaigns...but Obama himself rejected public money and had his campaign run almost entirely by Unions and other special interest groups.  They constantly brag about Pay as you Go and talk of fiscal responsibility...but has spent more money in one year and racked up more debt than every other presidnt combined.  They talk of no earmarks in the "stimulus" bill...but it is nothing but earmarks.  They talk of "cleaning up the swamp" (as Nancy Pelosi says) about corruption ...but have Schumer, Murtha, Dodd, Jefferson, etc all involved in ethics complaints but still have not left office because of it.  The Democrat party is all about the American people being too stupid to know whats good for them so they have to tell us what is.  We need to stop them this November and take back the House!!!!

Palm notes vs Teleprompter

     It's so predictable how the MSM is going after Sarah palin for jotting down notes on her palm during her convention speech.  Chris "thrill up my leg" Mathews was criticizing her for making fun of Obama's teleprompter use when she herself had used notes on her hand.  Reading word for word a speech that you have said a thousand times (even to sixth graders) on a teleprompter is a lot different than going up on a stage with just notes and making a speech.  Palin gave her speech from her heart and experience, she does not need anyone else to write her speeches which she needs to read off a screen.  Obama is an empty suit who needs to be coddled every day of his Presidency.  He cannot even pronounce words correctly he reads, like corpsman (the "p" is silent for those who heard his speech).  Three times he mispronounced this word in one speech - and he is the Commander-in-chief!  Notice how the MSM did not mention this fact at all yet they were all over "palmgate".  Even Chief White House Propaganda Secrectary Robert Gibbs made fun of Palin during a news conference - very classless and juvenile, just like this whole administration!
     Another news worthy item is this new debate on "bipartisanship".  Obama says that the Republicans think that bipartisanship is just doing what they say and him agreeing to it.  In reality, I think, is that the  Democrats and Obama, think that bipartisanship is going behind closed doors and making legislstion and then browbeating Republicans to vote for it and if they don't, claim they are being obstructionists!  The MSM is going to take the Obama's side on this issue, just like they have they done every past issue.  This Helath care bill, if they are really serious about passing a bipartisan compromise, needs to be scrapped and started over with both sides contributing.  Naturally, since elections have consequences, the Democrats should have more of what they want in the bill than the Republicans, but the Republicans should still have some of what they want to.  But that is not going to happen, is it?  
     The only way we are going to have true compromise and bipartisanship in this country is to have a divided government.  By that I mean the President and maybe one house in Congress control one party but have the other House of Congress controlled by the other.  This has happened during the Reagan years (the biggest period of growth and prosperity in decades), the Clinton years (why the budget was balanced due to the Republicans in control), and during the final two years of George W. Bush (maybe a bad example because that is when the economy tanked, with the Dems in control of Congress and the Repubs in control of the White House).  Only then can we have a truly compromised and bipartisan government and maybe we can get this country back on track!

TEA party movement and what it has become

     The TEA party movement, when it began last year, sprung up rather quickly due to normal everyday people who, for some, got involved in politics for the first time in their life.  They were fed up with this new administration's socialist, high taxes policies and finally took a stand.  At first, most in the main stream media (MSM) ignored these rallies.  Then, when Fox News and Talk radio started to pay attention, the MSM were forced to report on them (just like ACORN, Bill Ayers, Rev Wright, etc).  The media has been protecting President Obama for so long they forgot how to be impartial and unbiased journalists!   Now,  the left has gone crazy over the TEA partys, calling them TeaBaggers (derogatory in nature) and tying them to "birthers" and the like.  They hate them as much as they do Sarah Palin (fear should be a better word).  I love the TEA party movement and what it stands for.  But...
     Now the criticism.  I do not want the fringe right to take over this movement.  When certain groups start charging $500 a head to attend a rally it hurts the entire movement.  The MSM is looking for any little reason to jump on this movement and we do not need to give them any more ammunition.  When the MSM is actually discussing polls taken by the extreme left Daily Kos and airing them on national channels (MSNBC and CNN) as legitamate polls, it shows how desperate they are to demoralize this movement.  The latest is that the majority of TEA party people do not believe that Obama was born in the USA.  Now, compare that to in 2002 and 2003 the majority of Democrats believed that 9/11 was a conspiracy and these people were labeled "truthers".  Yet, the media did not go after them like they are now.  The media is trying to force Republican candidates to distance themselves from this movement with absurd talk of a third party, which would force a repeat of 1992 and 1996 with Ross Perot splitting the votes that made Clinton a two-term president. 
     We, the American people, need to stand up and peserve this great nation of ours.  In November, we must elect people who will follow the Constitution and the values of the everyday Amercians.  These include religious freedoms, first ammendment protections, smaller governement, less intrusion in our rights, second ammendment guarantees, and traditional moral values.  Now, most elected officlas that fit those roles are Republicans or have Republican values.  Therefore, we must not let the Left confuse the American people and try to divide the Republicans from the TEA party movement.  In fact, the TEA Party movement has to become part of the Republican agenda.  Poll after poll shows that althought the number of people calling themselves Democrats has fallen, the number of Republicans have not risen, BUT the number of Independants have risen.  I think that is because the media has done of good job of villifying the Republican brand that people do not want to label themselves as such.  I believe that some, if not half, of the so-called Independants are truly scrared Republicans who do not want to admit it in person.  By changing the perceptions of what being a Republican is and what we stanf for, more people will call themselves Republicans!  We must force people to either join the TEA Party movement and thus become Republicans or choose to go left and become Democrats.  This Novemeber is probbably the most important election in this country's history and it must go back to traditional American values and the Republicans (the true conservatives) and some moderate, although not the RINOs!
